It was one in the morning at the new base. And for once it was silent. Rex had fallen asleep after fighting EVOS all day and playing video games all night.
And amongst this rare silence slept Holiday, on a sleeping Six's chest.
This silence was broken when Holiday was aroused by a strange feeling in her stomach. It was unusual but felt natural at the same time.
